If you live in DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon, Ajay Vatsyayan Classes can send a one-to-one home tutor to you, and your child can also learn online with that tutor when a visit is not practical. Any class from 1 to 12 is covered, on ICSE/ISC, Cambridge IGCSE, IB or CBSE, together with JEE and NEET preparation. Families who prefer a female tutor only need to say so.
What sets DLF Phase 3 apart is the range of boards on one street. Along Moulsari Avenue, a single school runs CISCE, Cambridge and IB programmes, and a CBSE school sits in S Block nearby. So the first thing we ask a Phase 3 parent is not "which subject?" but "which programme is your child in, and where is it heading?" This page is built around that question.
Yes. A tutor from the Ajay Vatsyayan Classes Home Tutors Team can teach your child at home in DLF Phase 3, one-to-one, and switch to online sessions whenever that is easier. We cover:
Our tutors have 5–15 years of teaching experience, and the team includes IIT and NIT graduates. We have taught families across Gurgaon (Gurugram) for 12+ years and teach students from 50+ Gurgaon schools.
Our home tutors cover the whole of DLF Phase 3. The phase is usually described by Moulsari Avenue, which runs through it, and by its lettered blocks, especially U Block and S Block; the V Block addresses on Moulsari Avenue are part of the same stretch. The Moulsari Avenue area already has its own society page, listed further down.
Tell us your block letter and the nearest point on Moulsari Avenue when you call. That is all we need to suggest a tutor who can reach you. Homes on the edges of the phase are covered in the same way.
We teach students from schools such as The Shri Ram School, Moulsari (V-37 Moulsari Avenue), Vidya School (S Block, DLF Phase III), Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon and Summer Fields School, DLF (we are not affiliated with any school named here).
Each pathway asks different things of a student, so the tutor we suggest depends on the pathway, not only the subject. The table sets out how our tutoring changes.
| Pathway | What the student sits | What a home tutor focuses on |
|---|---|---|
| ICSE then ISC (CISCE) | ICSE at the end of Class 10; ISC at the end of Class 12 | Full, well-set-out written answers; the heavier ICSE science and maths syllabus; ISC projects and practical work in Classes 11–12 |
| Cambridge Lower Secondary then IGCSE | Lower Secondary in the middle years; IGCSE, usually a two-year course, around Classes 9–10 | Structured exam questions and command words; choosing between Core and Extended where a subject offers both, such as Mathematics |
| IB Diploma Programme | A two-year programme for Classes 11–12: six subjects at Higher or Standard Level, plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS | Subject depth at SL or HL; the internal assessment in each subject, which must remain the student's own work; exam-style practice |
| CBSE | Board examinations at the end of Class 10 and Class 12 | NCERT-first teaching, competency-based questions and board answer patterns |
From our tutors: IGCSE Extended Maths students often find the jump to IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level steeper than expected, mainly in algebraic manipulation and proof-style reasoning. We start that bridge in the last term of IGCSE rather than waiting for the DP to begin. Our IB DP Maths AA HL home tutor page goes into more detail.
From our tutors: ICSE students are used to long, well-presented written answers, which is a real strength. The habit that needs work when they reach ISC or JEE-level physics is speed on numericals, so tutors add short timed sets from the start of Class 11.
With so many programmes on one street, a change of board after Class 10 is worth planning for. The moves we help with, and what each one needs:

Yes. We suggest tutors by programme. An IGCSE student gets a tutor who teaches IGCSE, and an IB DP student gets one who teaches that subject at the right level.
A tutor can teach the subject knowledge and research skills behind them and give general feedback, within the rules. The work itself must be the student's own, and we will not write any part of it.
Not always, but a few focused weeks on NCERT textbooks and CBSE question style can make the first term much calmer. The demo class will show whether it is needed.
One-to-one home tuition with us usually costs ₹600 to ₹3,000 per hour depending on class, board and subject. Our article on what home tuition should cost in Gurgaon has more detail.
Yes. Mention it at the start and the female tutor we propose will be one who teaches your child's programme and subjects.
