In DLF Phase 2, Gurgaon, Ajay Vatsyayan Classes offers one-to-one home tuition, where a tutor visits your home, and live online classes with the same tutor. We teach Classes 1–12 for CBSE, ICSE and ISC, Cambridge IGCSE and IB, prepare students for JEE and NEET, and arrange a female tutor whenever a family asks for one.
DLF Phase 2 sits on the Cyber City side of Gurgaon, close to one of the city's main office districts. For a household where parents keep office hours, the practical question is how to fit steady tuition around two work calendars and a school timetable. This page answers that first, then covers the schools, classes and exams we teach and how to book a free demo.
We provide one tutor for one student, either at your home in DLF Phase 2 or in a live online class, for any class from 1 to 12. You choose the mode, and you can mix the two.
Our tutors have 5–15 years of teaching experience, and the team includes IIT and NIT graduates. Ajay Vatsyayan Classes has taught in Gurgaon for 12+ years and works with 500+ verified tutors.
We teach across DLF Phase 2, from homes on the Cyber City side of the phase to the Jacaranda Marg area, which has a dedicated society page. We also cover DLF Phase 1 and DLF Phase 3, so if your home is on the edge of the phase, the same tutor pool applies.
When you contact us, a landmark or road name is enough for us to work out which tutors can reach you. Jacaranda Marg, your block, or simply "the Cyber City side of DLF Phase 2" all help.
For a family where both parents work, tuition often stops not because of the tutor but because of the schedule. We plan the timetable first, then match the tutor.
| Situation | What usually works |
|---|---|
| A parent or grandparent is at home in the evening | Home sessions on fixed weekdays, so the tutor can see written work line by line and talk to an adult afterwards |
| Nobody is free on weekday evenings | A weekend home session for new teaching, plus one short weekday online session for practice and doubts |
| Travel or long office weeks | Switch to online for those weeks with the same tutor, then return to home visits |
| School exam week | Extra short online sessions for revision, instead of longer home visits |
| Class 11–12 student with an entrance exam | Home sessions for problem-solving; online for timed practice and quick doubt-clearing |
From our tutors: the plan that lasts is the one with fixed days. Families who choose "whenever everyone is free" tend to lose sessions quickly. We suggest two fixed slots a week and a third flexible one, even if the third is online.
From our tutors: a working parent may not be at home to see what happened in a session. So after each school test, the tutor sends a short message: which topics are secure, which need work, and what the next two weeks will cover. It takes a minute to read and keeps everyone in step.
For online sessions, all a student needs is a laptop or tablet, a quiet corner and a notebook. The tutor uses a shared whiteboard and asks the student to photograph written working, so very little is lost compared with sitting at the same table.
We teach students from schools such as Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Summer Fields School, DLF, Kunskapsskolan (KED), DLF Phase 1 and Vidya School (we are not affiliated with any school named here).
Because one school can run several programmes, please tell us the programme and subject level when you call. It decides which tutor we suggest.
Board years need the most consistent tuition, and they are also the years when a busy household is most likely to skip sessions. We plan them backwards from the exam dates.
CBSE now holds two Class 10 board exams, a main one in February–March and an optional one in May; our guide to CBSE's two Class 10 board exams explains how they work. The tutor finishes the syllabus early, then moves to sample papers and answer-writing practice. ICSE students follow the CISCE syllabus with the same principle.
For Class 12 we split the year into syllabus completion, practical and project deadlines, pre-board papers and final revision. Science students who are also preparing for JEE or NEET learn each chapter once, to board depth first and entrance depth next.
Class 12 students applying to central universities through CUET UG can use the same tutor for their domain subjects, since those follow the Class 12 syllabus closely. Language and general test practice can be added online in the final months.

Yes, if a tutor with weekend availability can reach you. A weekend home session combined with one weekday online session is a common pattern for working parents.
For practice, revision and doubt-clearing, online works well because it is still one-to-one. For younger children, or for building study habits, home sessions usually work better. The same tutor can do both.
