NEET Home Tutors in Gurgaon – One-to-One Biology, Chemistry and Physics Tuition for Class 11, 12 and Droppers

By the Ajay Vatsyayan Classes Home Tutors Team · Reviewed by Ajay Vatsyayan (Founder; B.Tech; IB and Cambridge IGCSE experienced). Last reviewed: 30 September 2026.

Ajay Vatsyayan Classes provides one-to-one NEET home tutors in Gurgaon for biology, chemistry and physics, for Class 11, Class 12 and drop-year students, at your home or in live online classes. A tutor from our Home Tutors Team starts with a diagnostic and builds one plan for both the board exam and NEET (UG). You meet the tutor in a free demo class before you decide.

We have taught in Gurgaon (Gurugram) for 12+ years, with 25,000+ students, 500+ verified tutors and families from 50+ Gurgaon schools. This is our NEET hub: what the official 2026 documents say, NEET biology in depth, summaries of chemistry and physics, and how to plan the boards and NEET together.

How one-to-one NEET home tuition works

Every session is one tutor with one student, at home or online. You can take one, two or all three NEET subjects, each taught by a tutor from our team who teaches that subject.

StepWhat happens
1. DiagnosticA short multiple-choice test marked +4/−1, as in NEET. The tutor sorts every lost mark by cause: a concept gap, a misread NCERT line, a calculation slip or time.
2. PlanChapters in the school's order, with school tests, practicals and board dates. For Class 12 and droppers it works back from the NEET date in the current NTA bulletin.
3. Weekly cycleTwo or three sessions of 60–90 minutes per subject: the NCERT chapter to board standard, then NEET-level timed sets, a practice set between sessions and an error log.
4. Full papers and reviewThree-hour, 180-question practice papers on an OMR-style sheet, reviewed question by question with the tutor. Parents get a short update after each.

Home sessions suit new chapters and checking written working; online sessions suit doubts, paper reviews and exam weeks. The tutor and the plan are the same either way.

NEET (UG) 2026: pattern, syllabus and eligibility

NEET (UG) 2026 had 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions for 720 marks, in three hours on pen and paper, marked +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the exam; the National Medical Commission (NMC) sets the syllabus. Sources, checked on 30 September 2026: the NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, the NMC syllabus for NEET (UG) 2026 and NTA notices on neet.nta.nic.in.

ItemNEET (UG) 2026
QuestionsPhysics 45, Chemistry 45, Biology (Botany and Zoology) 90; all compulsory
MarksPhysics 180, Chemistry 180, Biology 360; 720 in total
MarkingFour options, one correct or most appropriate answer: +4 correct, −1 incorrect, 0 unanswered
Duration and mode180 minutes, single shift, pen and paper (OMR), 13 languages; no calculators
SyllabusNotified by the NMC on 22 December 2025: 20 physics, 20 chemistry and 10 biology units
Tie-breakEqual marks are separated by Biology first, then Chemistry, then Physics

The 2026 exam and the June re-examination

The exam was held on 3 May 2026. NTA cancelled it (press release of 12 May 2026) and conducted a re-examination on 21 June 2026, whose result was declared on 16 July 2026. NTA has refunded the fee paid for the 3 May exam.

NEET 2027: not confirmed

Press reports since May 2026 quote the Union Education Minister, and NTA in the Supreme Court, as saying NEET (UG) will become a computer-based test (CBT) from 2027. As of 30 September 2026, NTA has published no 2027 bulletin or notice and the NMC no 2027 syllabus, so the 2027 mode, dates and pattern are not confirmed officially. We plan on the 2026 syllabus and practise both on paper and on screen.

Eligibility, from the 2026 bulletin

  • Age: 17 years on or before 31 December of the exam year (for 2026, General and EWS candidates born on or before 31 December 2009). No upper age limit.
  • Qualifying exam: Class 12 (CBSE, ISC or another recognised board) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English, including practicals. Class 12 students may sit NEET but must pass by the first round of counselling.
  • Other qualifications: foreign or equivalent qualifications may need an equivalence certificate; IB and Cambridge families should read Chapter 6 of the bulletin.
  • Qualifying for admission: the 50th percentile for General and EWS, the 40th for SC, ST and OBC, and the 45th or 40th for candidates with benchmark disabilities.

NEET biology in depth: 90 questions, 360 marks

Biology is half of NEET, 90 questions and 360 marks, and the first tie-breaker. It is built on NCERT Class 11 and 12 Biology, so our tutors teach from the NCERT text, including its diagrams, tables and examples. For board biology, see our biology tuition in Gurgaon.

The ten NMC biology units, mapped to the board

The third column gives the marks of the matching unit in CBSE's 2026–27 Biology (044) theory paper, out of 70. That shows what the school exam rewards; it is not a NEET weightage, which neither NTA nor the NMC publishes.

NMC unit (NEET UG 2026)ClassCBSE marksWhat NEET needs
1. Diversity in Living World1115Classification, salient features and examples
2. Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants1110Plant morphology, floral formulae, tissues; frog in brief
3. Cell Structure and Function1115Organelles, biomolecules, enzymes, mitosis and meiosis
4. Plant Physiology1112Photosynthesis and respiration pathways, ATP counts, growth regulators
5. Human Physiology1118Breathing, circulation, excretion, movement, neural and endocrine control, disorders
6. Reproduction1216Flowering plants, human reproduction, reproductive health
7. Genetics and Evolution1220Crosses, pedigrees, molecular inheritance, Hardy–Weinberg
8. Biology and Human Welfare1212Pathogens, immunity, microbes in human welfare
9. Biotechnology and Its Applications1212Recombinant DNA steps and tools; uses in health and farming
10. Ecology and Environment1210Populations, ecosystems, energy flow, conservation

Five units come from Class 11. A student who treats Class 11 biology as finished after the school exam has put half the biology syllabus at risk.

Where the board and NEET biology differ

  • Plant families: the NMC list names Malvaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminosae, Compositae and Gramineae; CBSE 2026–27 describes only Solanaceae.
  • Enzymes: the NMC list adds enzyme classification and nomenclature.
  • School-assessed only: CBSE assesses digestion and absorption (Class 11) and environmental issues (Class 12) only formatively, and the NMC list does not name either.
  • Board only: CBSE names stem cell technology, antibiotics and Ramsar sites; the NMC list does not.

ISC students should run the same check; see ISC vs CBSE for JEE and NEET.

How our tutors teach NEET biology

  • NCERT line by line: each chapter is tested on its exact statements, because options often differ by one word ("always", "only") or one wrong example.
  • Diagrams from memory: the heart, nephron, embryo sac and stages of meiosis, drawn and labelled, then questioned part by part.
  • Question formats: statement-based, match-the-list and assertion–reason style sets, so the format never slows the student.
  • Spaced revision: older chapters return every week in mixed sets.

From our tutors: most biology marks are lost not on hard questions but on options that are nearly right. We ask students to say why each wrong option is wrong, not just which one is right. Within weeks they spot the swapped word or wrong example themselves, and careless negatives drop.

Three worked NEET biology examples

1. Hardy–Weinberg (Unit 7). A recessive disorder affects 1 in 400 people in a population in equilibrium. What fraction are carriers?
q² = 1/400, so q = 0.05 and p = 0.95. Carriers = 2pq = 2 × 0.95 × 0.05 = 0.095, about 9.5%.
Common error: taking q = 1/400 instead of its square root.

2. Sex-linked inheritance (Unit 7). A carrier woman (XHXh) and an unaffected man (XHY) have children. What are the chances of haemophilia?
Sons are XHY or XhY, so half the sons are expected to be affected. Daughters are XHXH or XHXh: none affected, half carriers. Across all children the chance is 1/4.
Common error: answering 1/4 when the question asks about sons.

3. Energy flow (Unit 10). Producers fix 10,000 J. By the 10 per cent law, how much reaches tertiary consumers?
10,000 → 1,000 (primary) → 100 (secondary) → 10 J (tertiary).
Common error: counting producers as the first consumer level.

NEET chemistry: a summary

Chemistry is 45 questions for 180 marks. The NMC groups its 20 units as physical (Units 1–8), inorganic (9–12), organic (13–19) and practical chemistry (20). Physical chemistry needs speed with numericals, inorganic needs exact NCERT recall, and organic needs mechanisms first, then conversion practice.

For CBSE students one gap matters most: CBSE's 2026–27 curriculum assesses s- and p-block elements in Class 11 only formatively, while the NMC's Unit 10 covers the p-block in full, so our tutors teach it in full. For worked examples and a two-year plan, see our NEET chemistry home tuition in Gurgaon page; for board chemistry, our chemistry tuition in Gurgaon.

NEET physics: a summary

Physics is 45 questions for 180 marks over 20 NMC units: Units 1–10 match Class 11, 11–19 match Class 12, and Unit 20 is experimental skills. With no calculator and about a minute per question, this is where many biology-strong students lose marks. The NEET 2026 physics syllabus also names topics the CBSE 2026–27 Class 12 curriculum does not: polarisation and Brewster's law; the LED, photodiode, solar cell and Zener regulator; and logic gates.

Our NEET physics tutor in Gurgaon page covers this in depth, with 12 guides. Start with the NEET physics syllabus and exam pattern, how to crack NEET physics when biology is your strength, NEET physics numericals, chapter-wise weightage and the 30-day recovery plan. For board physics, see our CBSE Class 12 physics home tutor in Gurugram and physics tuition in Gurgaon.

Board plus NEET: Class 11, Class 12 and droppers

Each chapter is taught to board standard first, then taken to NEET level in the same week, so the two never compete for time. This plan follows a typical CBSE year and is adjusted to each school's dates. In 2026 NEET was scheduled for early May, soon after the Class 12 boards; the 2027 date is not yet announced.

StageBoard and schoolNEET layer
Class 11, April–SeptemberFirst chapters, unit tests, half-yearlyNCERT biology read-throughs; mole concept and mechanics drills; first timed sets
Class 11, October–MarchPhysiology, equilibrium, organic basics; practical files; final examMixed weekly sets; p-block and NEET-only biology topics in full
Class 12, April–OctoberReproduction, genetics, electrostatics, electrochemistry; practicalsClass 11 units revisited weekly; first full papers
Class 12, November–boardsPre-boards, practical exams, board examsA full paper every week or two; error-log review
After the boardsNoneFull papers under exam conditions; NCERT biology and inorganic read-throughs

Class 11 and Class 12

Class 11 is the right time to start: half the biology units and most of the physical chemistry and mechanics sit there. A Class 12 starter needs a selective plan, with weak Class 11 units brought back early and full papers from the autumn. See our Class 11 tuition in Gurgaon, Class 12 tuition in Gurgaon and CBSE Class 11 and 12 home tutors pages, and, if your child is still choosing, which stream to choose after Class 10.

Droppers

A drop-year student has met every chapter but has uneven gaps. The year starts with a full-syllabus diagnostic in all three subjects, cycles through the syllabus two or three times, and brings in full papers early. See NEET physics for droppers for a physics year plan.

From our tutors: droppers often spend their first months re-reading biology because it feels productive, while the physics or chemistry that cost them marks goes untouched. We split the week by the diagnostic, not by comfort: the weakest subject gets the freshest hours.
