IB DP Maths is offered as two courses, Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI), each at Standard Level (SL) or Higher Level (HL). How we approach senior Maths and Physics

The approach below is how our senior Maths and Physics lessons are planned. Ajay reviews it as founder. It is a description of method, not a promise about marks.

• Check the foundations first. A short set of questions in the first session shows which earlier skills a chapter depends on, such as algebraic manipulation before calculus or vector resolution before rotational motion.
• Teach Maths and Physics as one toolkit. Differentiation is the language of velocity and acceleration, and integration gives work done by a variable force. Students who see the link learn both subjects faster.
• Follow the school's order. The tutor works on the chapter the school is teaching now, then adds the board or entrance layer.
• Keep a written record of errors. Each mistake goes into a notebook with the correct idea, and the notebook is revisited before every test.
• Report to parents regularly. Families hear what was covered, what is still weak and what comes next.
