Kunskapsskolan International School, known locally as KED International, runs three curricula on one campus next to Sector 70A in the Gul Farm Complex: CBSE, Cambridge and the IB Diploma Programme. That mix is exactly why parents look for a tutor who first asks, "Which track is your child on?" Our one-to-one tutors teach at your home or live online, and the plan always starts from your child's own board and subjects.
Ajay Vatsyayan Classes is an independent home-tuition service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Kunskapsskolan International School (KED International). For 12+ years we have matched tutors with families across Gurugram, from 50+ Gurgaon schools, and families from schools such as KED International book our tutors for CBSE, Cambridge and IB subjects alike.
With three boards available, no single tuition plan fits every KED International student. The tutor follows the child's own track, uses that board's syllabus and assessment style, and does not mix in material from another curriculum unless it genuinely helps.
On the CBSE track, the textbooks are NCERT and the external exams are the Class 10 and Class 12 boards, set by CBSE. In the primary years the tutor works on reading, handwriting and number sense; in Classes 6–8 on algebra, science concepts and written answers; in Classes 9–10 on complete NCERT coverage and CBSE sample papers from cbseacademic.nic.in. Classes 11–12 bring a stream choice, practical files and, for many students, JEE or NEET preparation alongside the board.
For a child on the Cambridge track, the tutor teaches to the Cambridge International syllabus for each subject. At IGCSE level, many subjects are offered at Core and Extended tiers, and the tier decides which papers a student sits and how much content must be covered. Cambridge papers reward precise command words ("describe", "explain", "calculate"), so our tutors spend time on how to read a question, not only on content. Syllabuses and past-paper information are on cambridgeinternational.org.
IB DP students take six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, plus the DP core of Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Most subjects include an Internal Assessment, a piece of independent work marked by the teacher and moderated by the IB. In Maths, students choose Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation, at SL or HL. A tutor helps with concept depth, exam-style questions and time planning, while the IA and Extended Essay stay the student's own work, as ibo.org requires.
From our tutors: students who switch from CBSE to the Cambridge or IB track often know the content but lose marks on longer, explanation-heavy answers. A few weeks of practice in the new format usually closes that gap.
Tutors are matched by board as well as subject: an IB DP Maths student gets a tutor who teaches the DP course, not a general maths tutor. Across the team, tutors bring 5–15 years of teaching experience, and several are IIT and NIT graduates. Fees range from ₹600 to ₹3,000 per hour, depending on class, board and subject.
The rhythm of the year depends on the track, and the tutor plans with that in mind.
Families moving between tracks, say from CBSE in Class 10 to the IB Diploma in Class 11, benefit from a bridging plan over the preceding holidays, so that the first DP term does not feel like a shock. Whatever the board, the first session is a diagnostic, and you receive a short written plan.
The school lies in the Sector 70A pocket covered by our Sectors 70–79 home tutors page. Nearby societies where families book home tuition include:

Yes. The tutor works from the textbooks, worksheets and task sheets your child brings home, and plans around the deadlines your child has been given. We do not write coursework, IAs or Extended Essays for students.
Yes, both. IB DP support covers Maths AA and AI at SL and HL, the sciences, Economics and English; CBSE support covers PCM, PCB and Commerce, with JEE or NEET preparation if needed.
Both options are one-to-one. Many IB families choose home sessions for Maths and Physics and add online sessions near deadlines.
Yes, a free first class of about an hour with the tutor who would normally teach your child. A female tutor can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
