When a Presidium, Sector 57 student needs extra help, what matters most is a tutor who teaches the CBSE syllabus the way the board examines it, at the child's own pace. Ajay Vatsyayan Classes arranges one-to-one tutors who come to homes in Mayfield Garden and the surrounding sectors of Gurgaon, or teach live online, covering every class from 1 to 12 and every main subject.
Ajay Vatsyayan Classes is an independent home-tuition service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Presidium, Sector 57. Our own address is in Sector 52, Gurugram, and in 12+ years we have taught 25,000+ students; families from schools such as Presidium, Sector 57 book our tutors.
Presidium, Sector 57 follows CBSE. For tuition, that means the NCERT textbooks are the core reading, the yearly curriculum on cbseacademic.nic.in defines what is examined, and the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams are the two fixed points everything else builds towards. The textbooks themselves can be read free on the NCERT website.
Children in the junior classes learn most easily through short, varied tasks. A tutor might spend ten minutes on a story and its questions, fifteen on number work with drawings or counters, and the rest on neat handwriting or spelling. The goal is a child who can read instructions alone and finish homework without a parent sitting beside them.
Here, the amount of reading grows fast. Social Science spans history, geography, governance and economics, Science brings in experiments and diagrams, and Maths adds algebra and more formal geometry. Tuition focuses on understanding before memorising: the tutor asks the child to explain each idea back, and only then moves to written answers.
Class 9 is not a rest year; much of Class 10 Maths and Science assumes Class 9 ideas such as algebraic expressions, coordinate geometry, motion and the structure of matter. In Class 10, students take the CBSE board exam, and Mathematics is offered at Standard and Basic levels. Our tutors keep a running list of weak chapters from Class 9 and revisit them during Class 10, so the board year does not become a race to relearn old work.
Class 12 is often the most crowded year a student faces: the CBSE board exam, practical exams in the science subjects, and for many, JEE Main, NEET or CUET. JEE Main, NEET and CUET are all conducted by the National Testing Agency, and all three draw heavily on Class 11–12 content. A one-to-one tutor can plan one timetable that covers board chapters and entrance practice together, instead of two separate programmes pulling in different directions.
| Class range | Subjects we teach |
|---|---|
| Classes 1–5 | English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, and support in the other language your child learns |

Tutors are matched by subject and class. They have 5–15 years of teaching experience, and among them are IIT and NIT graduates. On request, and subject to availability, we can arrange a female tutor.
The tutor fits into the school's pattern of teaching, tests and holidays, and the plan changes as the year moves. A typical CBSE year with us runs like this:
From our tutors: Class 12 students preparing for JEE or NEET often drop board-style writing practice in the winter. We schedule one full written board answer set each week so that neither exam is neglected.
