NEET Preparation: Home Tuition in Gurgaon for Physics, Chemistry and Biology

NEET (UG) in brief: what the 2026 paper looked like

NEET (UG) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to the NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, it was a single pen-and-paper paper of 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions to be answered in 180 minutes: 45 in physics, 45 in chemistry and 90 in biology (botany and zoology), for a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer earns four marks, each incorrect answer loses one mark, and an unanswered question earns nothing. The syllabus is notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The 2026 examination that counted for admissions was held on 21 June 2026.

What NEET aspirants need, board by board

The medical entrance syllabus is the same for everyone, but the route to it depends on which board a student is coming from. Here is how we plan for each.

CBSE students

For CBSE students, the NCERT physics, chemistry and biology books for Classes 11 and 12 are the natural base. The real work is turning long-answer board habits into quick, accurate choices under a clock. Tutors run the two tracks side by side, so that Class 12 practicals and board preparation do not push multiple-choice practice off the calendar for weeks at a time.

ICSE and ISC students

ISC students learn from CISCE's own syllabus, and the order of chapters does not always match the NMC units. Before term begins, we lay the ISC scheme next to the NEET syllabus, mark any unit that school will reach late, and start that unit earlier at home. Students finishing ICSE in Class 10 get the same exercise before they choose a Class 11 board.

Cambridge IGCSE students

IGCSE ends at the Class 10 level, so an IGCSE student aiming for medicine has to move into a Class 11 programme first. The early months go on bridging: quantitative chemistry, physics numericals written out step by step, and the vocabulary of Indian textbooks, which may be new to a student who has only used Cambridge materials.

IB Diploma students

IB Diploma Programme sciences overlap with much of the NEET content, yet they are organised and assessed very differently, and internal assessments take real time. Whether a particular IB combination satisfies NEET eligibility is decided under the bulletin's rules, not by a tutor, so families should check that clause in writing before committing. Once eligibility is clear, we plan around the IB calendar rather than against it.

• Short updates for parents. Parents hear what was covered, what is pending and what needs attention at home.
• Home or online, same tutor. A student can switch between home visits and live online sessions without changing teacher.

From our tutors: the pattern we meet most often is a student who reads biology for hours but rarely answers biology questions against a timer. Reading feels productive; timed recall is what the paper tests. A second common habit is treating physics as optional. It carries the same 180 marks as chemistry, so we rebuild it chapter by chapter instead of letting it drift.

NEET home tuition: questions parents ask

Can NEET preparation be done entirely with a home tutor?

Yes, if the student is willing to do regular timed practice between sessions. A one-to-one tutor covers the teaching, the doubts and the paper practice; the student supplies the daily hours. We say so plainly in the first meeting.

What does NEET home tuition cost?

Should we begin in Class 11 or wait until Class 12?

Class 11 is easier, because Class 11 chapters are part of the NEET syllabus and the school load is lighter that year. Class 12 starters can still prepare well, but the plan has to be tighter and revision has to begin earlier.

Does one tutor teach physics, chemistry and biology?

Usually each subject has its own tutor, so a student may work with two or three people. Many families take only the subject that is causing trouble, most often physics or organic chemistry.

Is live online NEET tuition as useful as a home visit?

It is the same tutor teaching the same one-to-one lesson, with a shared screen or digital board. Families choose online for travel time or late evenings, and home visits when a student concentrates better with someone at the table.
