If your child studies at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 in Kankarbagh, we can send a one-to-one home tutor to your house or teach them in live online classes. Every session follows your child's own NCERT books, school notebooks and test calendar, whether they are in Class 1 or preparing for the Class 12 board exam.
Ajay Vatsyayan Classes is an independent home-tuition service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Kankarbagh, Patna. We simply teach students who attend it, one child at a time.
These details come from the school's official website (About, Contact and enrolment pages). The second shift has a separate site of its own.
For tuition, two points stand out. First, this is a CBSE school, so the NCERT textbook is the base for almost every subject and the tutor plans around it. Second, because the school runs two shifts, your child's free hours depend on which shift they attend. We set tuition timings around that shift rather than asking you to fit a fixed slot, and Humanities support is planned only for first-shift students, since that is where the stream is offered.
We begin at Class 1. At this age the tutor works on fluent reading in English and Hindi, neat writing, and number sense: place value, tables and simple word problems. Homework is done together, but the aim is for the child to start doing it alone.
Science and Social Science become heavier here, and Maths turns more abstract with algebra and geometry. A one-to-one tutor slows down on the chapters your child finds hard and makes sure NCERT exercises are actually understood, not copied.
Class 9 lays the ground for the Class 10 CBSE board exam, so gaps in Maths and Science are fixed early. In Class 10, sessions shift towards writing answers in the CBSE format, working through past board papers and planning revision chapter by chapter.
Across the company, Ajay Vatsyayan Classes has 12+ years of teaching, 25,000+ students taught and 500+ verified tutors.
The CBSE year follows a steady rhythm, and a home tutor can match it. In the first months the focus is on keeping up with new chapters as they are taught. Before each periodic test, sessions turn to practice on those chapters. Around half-yearly exams, the tutor builds a short revision plan so nothing is left to the last night.
After the half-yearly, the second half of the syllabus usually moves faster, which is where many students fall behind. For Class 10 and 12, the final stretch is about full-length practice papers and timing. During holidays, sessions can be used to fill old gaps or to start the next class early. Frequency can go up or down through the year; you only need to tell us.
The school sits in Lohia Nagar, inside the wider Kankarbagh area. Our home tutors in Kankarbagh page covers the whole neighbourhood. Families in these localities can also go straight to the local page:

Yes. Tell us your child's shift and free hours, and we look for a tutor who can come at a time that suits, whether that is morning, afternoon or evening. The exact slot is agreed with you before tuition starts.
The demo lasts about an hour and is normally arranged within a day. It is taken by the tutor who would usually go on to teach your child, so you can judge the fit directly.
Fees depend on the class, subjects and number of sessions a week. We explain them clearly before the demo, so there are no surprises later.
For Class 11–12 Science students, yes, where it suits your child. The tutor plans board chapters and entrance practice together so the two do not compete for time.
